What We Collect

Photo Library Access

Swipio accesses your photo library to help you organize and clean up photos and videos.

• Photos are processed entirely on your device
• Never uploaded to any server
• Never stored outside your device
• Never shared with anyone
• You control which photos to keep or delete

Review Bin

When you swipe to delete photos, they go to the Review Bin first.

• Stored locally on your device
• You can recover photos before permanent deletion
• You control when to permanently delete
• Never leaves your device

Storage Tracking

Swipio tracks how much storage space you've freed.

• Calculated locally on your device
• Progress data stored locally
• Never transmitted anywhere

Crash Data

We collect anonymous crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs.

• Device model and iOS version
• App version and crash logs
• No personal information
• No photos or photo metadata
• Completely anonymous

Third-Party Services

Swipio uses these services to function:

Firebase Crashlytics

Google's crash reporting service.

• Collects anonymous crash data only

How We Use Data

The minimal data we process is used only to:

• Display your photos for review
• Track which photos you want to delete
• Calculate storage space freed
• Fix crashes and improve stability

What We Don't Collect

Swipio does NOT collect:

• Your name, email, or phone number
• Your photos or videos
• Photo metadata or EXIF data
• Usage analytics or behavior tracking
• Advertising IDs
• Contacts or other device data
• Payment information (handled by Apple if applicable)

Data Sharing

We don't sell, rent, or share your data. Period.

The only data sharing that occurs:

• Anonymous crash reports to Firebase as described above
• We may disclose data if required by law

Your Control

Photo Library: Control access in Settings → Swipio → Photos. You can revoke access anytime.

Review Bin: Recover photos anytime before permanent deletion. You decide when to permanently delete.

Crash Reports: Disable in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Children's Privacy

Swipio is rated 4+ and safe for children. We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children. No accounts, no social features, no ads. Complies with COPPA.

International Use

Swipio works worldwide. All photo processing happens on your device, regardless of where you are.

California Privacy (CCPA)

California residents have these rights:

• Right to know: We collect minimal anonymous data only
• Right to delete: Delete the app to remove all data
• Right to opt-out: We don't sell personal information

European Privacy (GDPR)

EU users have these rights:

• Legal basis: Legitimate interest (app functionality) and consent (photo library access)
• Access: All data is on your device
• Erasure: Delete the app
• Portability: Data stored in standard iOS formats

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
